L2/L3 Incidents handling for Solaris 10 and Solaris 11
Follow and produce Daily, Weekly and Monthly checklist and management reports.
Install, configure and maintain Sun Servers (Solaris 10/11)
Configuration and administration Sun Virtualization, Zones & Server Sizing
Working experience in ZFS \ ZONE administration \ ZPool administration
Knowledge and experience providing support in a production operations environment is desired
Must be detail-oriented, have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, strong communication and documentation skills
Must be familiar with fundamental operations concepts such as change control, importance of good documentation and problem ownership
Must have the ability to work productively in a team environment
Good hands on experience in Linux (SUSE/RHEL) Administration.
Should possess good diagnosing and troubleshooting skills on Linux OS
Good exposure to package/patch/update management with zypper, rpm, and yum
Familiar with LVM concepts on Linux and knowledge on native multi-path and/or power path
Must be able to develop and maintain scripts for automation
Expertise in monitoring and maintenance tools like Nagios
Understanding of server and application performance tuning
Good understanding of NAS on an OS perspective(iSCSI or SCSI or FC or HBA or LUN, WWNN, WWPN etc)
Knowledge on analyzing logs and troubleshooting issues and providing RCA
